At 8.20 A.M. on May 8th, 2021, Anqing Foreign Languages School started the 2021 earthquake and fire emergency evacuation drill as the sharp alarm sounded in the campus.
To start with, the drills were scheduled during class, and all the teachers and students in the teaching building should be evacuated to a safe place. After the alarm sounded, the teachers of each class immediately organized the students to evacuate the classroom quickly and orderly to evacuate to the track and field stadium from the designated route. Under the orderly organization of the emergency evacuation drill working group, more than 3,000 teachers and students were evacuated from each teaching building quickly and assembled in athletics ground within 4 minutes.  
After the drill, our school specially invited police officer Ge from Laofeng Police Station of Anqing Public Security Bureau to comment on the evacuation drill. She praised the teachers and students for participating in the drill carefully and gathering safely and quickly. Later on, Secretary Liu Qiongdan made a summary speech and required all teachers and students to further establish the idea of ‘Safety First, Prevention First’, strictly prevent the occurrence of campus emergencies, further enhance the establishment of safety awareness, promote resilience and ensure personal safety. 
To sum up, Anqing Foreign Language School has always attached great importance to safety education and prevention work. The purpose of this emergency evacuation drill is to enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students, let all the teachers and students be familiar with the emergency evacuation route, cultivate the ability of teachers and students to respond to various emergencies, strengthen organization and coordination, help them stay calm and follow the right directions, protect the personal safety of teachers and students, and build a safe campus.
